Nowadays, almost all of us heard about Artificial Intelligence. But what is it and what does Artificial Intelligence mean?
Artificial Intelligence is a computerized problem-solving based on user request.
There are three (3) types of artificial intelligence (AI):
- Weak AI,
- Strong AI, and
- Super intelligence.
Weak AI is the only type of artificial intelligence that we as society have effectively acknowledged to date. Weak AI is mostly focused in performing singular tasks – i.e., facial recognition, speech recognition/voice assistants, driving a car, or searching the internet – and is extremely keen at doing the particular job it is customized to do.
Strong AI or deep AI, is the idea of a machine with general knowledge that emulates human insight or potentially practices, with the ability to learn and apply its intelligence to solve particular problems. Strong AI can think, understand, and act in a way that is practically identical with a human at some random circumstance.
Super intelligence has for quite some time been the dream in which robots overrun, overthrow, and/or oppress humanity. The idea of artificial super intelligence would hypothetically outperform the human brain at all that we do: math, science, sports, diversions, and passionate connections. As such, computers would have a more prominent memory and a faster response to measure and dissect information’s. Subsequently, it will exceed the capabilities of human beings.
